In the 50+ years since it opened, DRH has expended from a humble little local tavern serving loyal regulars to a fully-realized restaurant space with a closed in outdoor cafe and a smaller, intimate back room with its own bar.
We are now a venue that can the comforts of a meal and a few drinks to individuals and small parties to also being able to offer the conveniences of a full-functioning event and party space of parties of up to 150 people!
We also have many amenities available to make your party or event even more dynamic and successful including:

The Dorrian's Red Hand
50th Anniversary Event
November 16 - November 19, 2010
Dorrian’s Red Hand first opened in October of 1960. It celebrated 50 years of continued business in 2010, a rare milestone for any business in NYC, especially a bar or restaurant.
To celebrate it’s “Golden” anniversary, we held a four-day event, kicking off with a reunion karaoke fete Tuesday, November 16, then hosting a reunion party for individual decades of remembrance over the following three days, hosting friends and regulars from the ‘80s on Wednesday, November 17, from the ‘90s on Thursday, November 18, and from the 00s the final Friday, November 19.
As you will see, it was a packed house the entire week, and more importantly, it was a sentimentally fun week for hundreds of people who know each other through and from Dorrian’s to reconnect after years.
